Superintendent's Message

Why choose Hamilton Heights School Corporation?

As Superintendent of Hamilton Heights School Corporation, I want to assure you that our district is committed to an excellent learning outcome for every student. Positive attitudes, high expectations for student citizenship, academic rigor, and help and support for students and parents are hallmarks of our school environments. Improved instructional practices over the past five years are paying dividends for Hamilton Heights’ students, who score in the top 20% of Indiana schools on state and national academic benchmarks. Teachers regularly analyze student data to make sure that all students make progress, and that all students are challenged and assisted appropriately. In fact, we have begun to consistently score higher than national and state averages on most important measurements. We have increased academic rigor and improved performance while maintaining a warm, nurturing, and student-oriented school environment.

The quality of our school programs coupled with the attractiveness of our small town settings and traditional farming homesteads, all closely located to recreational and sports opportunities, restaurants, entertainment and shopping, make the Hamilton Heights community an attractive place to live and to educate children . An added bonus this year, for those of you who may currently reside outside of our community, is that our district offers a tuition-free opportunity to transfer to our schools if your child meets our established criteria of academic, social, and attendance requirements (provided sufficient classroom capacity exists).

Below are top reasons to be proud of Hamilton Heights, if you are currently a resident, or to give serious consideration to becoming a part of our school if your children do not currently attend Hamilton Heights. Our vibrant high-achieving school district welcomes you!
